Took a quick trip with my wife to a few spots in NE TX including the North Sulphur River. Found a nice variety with my fav being the mosasaur/fish coprolite.

The clam in the top photo, Corbicula fluminea, is modern Asian immigrant. They are common in lakes and canals in Texas, Arizona and other areas. See Wikipedia article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corbicula_fluminea

I got to get down to hunt some of those Texas rivers someday!  Such a great variety of stuff to find.  You did great!
