Mikestein
Hi y'all. I'm new here, so I hope I'm doing this right. I have a bunch of found artifacts that interest me. Most were found near Myrtle Beach or Edisto Beach, SC. Help identify? Mike

ynot
Welcome to TFF! Not sure about the piece marked 3. The piece marked 11 is a tilly bone from a fish. Nice. 5 is a bone fragment, no identifiable features. Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Will Rogers said: " Some of them didn't spring far enough." Peat Burns
The one marked "5" might be turtle.
Miocene_Mason
Could the one marked three be a weirdly worn croc jaw segment? “...whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been and are being evolved.” ~ Charles Darwin Happy hunting, Mason
ynot
I agree that 3 is a crab claw. Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Will Rogers said: " Some of them didn't spring far enough." ynot
Most look like bone fragments. 12 Looks more like concretions. 15 Looks like a pottery shard. Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." I hadn't considered something man made for 15. But it does have that appearance. However it feels like fossilized material.
