Max-fossils
Hi all, Found this 2 days ago on the Zandmotor (Netherlands). I have no clue what it is... Anyone know what it could be from? Brett Breakin' Rocks
I'm not familiar with the crustaceans from the Netherlands .. but it looks like a hairy crab underbelly. Cheers, Brett

RJB
@Brett Breakin' Rocks, I see now that the photo im talking about is probably a crab sittin in a bowl of water. At first it looked like a concretion to me. RB

Max-fossils
@Brett Breakin' Rocks @Taogan @WhodamanHD Thanks for the help! Must have been a big crab. The most common crab in the North Sea is, I think, the Cancer pagurus. When I found it, I did think of crab, but as I was only thinking about its armor, I discarded the idea. Guess you also have to look beneath things! Best regards, Max Max Derème "I feel an echo of the lightning each time I find a fossil.
