Fossil ID - Missouri

Hello new to The Forum I found this fossil a few years back in a lake in Northern Missouri on a rocky area on shore it's a little over an inch long rounded. kind of looks like a tooth but really just do not know what it is. I would love some help with an idea of what it may be.

It's a nice example of a rugose solitary horn coral. The rugose corals went extinct at the close of the Paleozoic Era.

I agree - Rugose or "Horn" coral.

Welcome to TFF from Kansas City.  I find these corals occasionally in the southern KC area.  Nice find.
