Antonasaurus
I was walking near my grandma's cottage near Minsk, Belarus and I accidentally stumbled across this rock and noticed some interesting fossils(?) on it. She said that there used to be a sand quarry there a long time ago. Can anyone please help with the identification of the fossils and possibly the time period? Thank you
ynot
I can see some bryozoan pieces. The rest could be coral fragments, or some other shell pieces. Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Antonasaurus
Thanks, Do you see anything interesting in the first picture that is worth taking out of the rock a bit?
ynot
I do not see anything that looks like it would benefit from prepping, but You never know. Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." No I do not, but You can look at a geologic map of the area it was found. Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Will Rogers said: " Some of them didn't spring far enough."
