Is this a Fossil?

Hi All,

 

Can someone kindly attempt to identify this find?

 

Found it on a hike in the Canadian Rockies at an elevation approximately 2000 meters. Note some tiny porosity on side and bottom surfaces.

Welcome to the Forum. :) 

This looks to be a Rugose coral, also known as "Horn" coral. 

Neat find.

Thanks for the quick reply "Dude".

As most newbies, was hoping for a claw or tooth - but a fossil of any kind is much better than a rock.
