Is this a Galeocerdo tooth?

Today I visited one of my local shark tooth sites for a bit of scratching in the sandy conglomerate. I usually end up with a few Carcharias teeth after an hour or so, but this time this tooth popped out along with them. Could someone please confirm if this is a Galeocerdo posterior tooth, or could it be something else? The site is in the Miocene Ottnangian. Its 12mm. long
