jpc Posted August 28, 2017 Share Posted August 28, 2017 The headline is kinda deceiving... a 3 meter ichthyosaur is big, yes, and this may be the biggest in its genus, which is what the text says, but the ichthyosaur known as Shonisaurus grew so big that its skull was the size of this biggest of Ichthyosauruses.
