anthracite31
Spent most of the day Saturday in the water at Green Mill Run. There were soo many small teeth to be had under .25". Some super nice smalls. Found some meg chunks. The highlight for my daughter was finding the 1.5" great white. Exhausting, but good day!
izak_
Fantastic finds! ...but why are there "belemnites" in there? are they even belemnites?
sixgill pete
Remember GMR is not all Miocene. Many of your "Miocene" finds in your picture are in fact Cretaceous. Besides belemnites as @Foozil said you also have Squalicorax (Crow Shark) some Cretaceous sand tigers and some Pycnodont fish teeth. GMR also has Pliestocene mammal material. I would say roughly half of what you have pictures is Cretaceous. 1 Bulldozers and dirt Bulldozers and dirt behind the trailer, my desert Them red clay piles are heaven on earth I get my rocks off, bulldozers and dirt Patterson Hood; Drive-By Truckers May 2016 May 2012 Aug 2013, May 2016, Apr 2020 Oct 2022
