Hi! I found this small beauty at a beach in Savannah River.

 

Any input is appreciated.

It resembles, but is too small to be a left, lower p2 from a tapir.  (Only the dimensions of the crown are useful.)

OOPS!  I wasn't paying attention to the dimensions.  It's too small for tapir.  I think it is a rodent, probably Sigmodon.   :blush:

Thanks! It definetly looks like a lower m1 of a racoon. Just compared it with a non fossiled one that I have and its the exact same size.
