Ramon
Hey, I'm back in the forum!!! This summer I bought a fossil in Mexico, it looks like a rib. It was found in Cerralvo, Mexico. The geology of the area is Late Creataceous to Eocene. It is definitely a fossilized bone. My questions are what bone is it, and from what animal could it had been? The location where it was found Another pic... Miocene_Mason
I believe that the export of fossils from Mexico is prohibited. This bone is a chunksaurus I think, rib is a reasonable guess, but I, not sure anything beyond that can be deduced. “...whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been and are being evolved.” ~ Charles Darwin Happy hunting, Mason
