caldigger
OK, this one might be difficult as I don't have any information to go along with it. My sister bought this at a thrift store in Portland, Oregon. There is nothing to say where it is from or age. However, it does look like some of the White Water Formation fossils I have seen. The matrix is very hard stone not like compressed silt or anything that can be handled with dental tools. The tooth and bone has had a consolidant applied at some time. Can this get an ID or is that just a pipe dream?

caldigger
That's as close as I can get with my camera. It doesn't let me take real close up shots. With the close up setting I still have to be at least 12 inches away from the subject for it to allow a picture to be taken.
caldigger
Really...nothing?! I am not that well versed in teeth. Am I just looking at a broken Oreodont or something else.
