KJane79
Anyone have any idea what these are or what they belonged to? We went digging recently in a newly caved in embankment in the side of a small lake in cass county, NE. We were looking for agates, but found these instead. I don't know anything about fossils, really so all help is appreciated!! Thank you!!! https://goo.gl/photos/vCe1hRzFvQ8x1CrH9
Ludwigia
We would prefer that you post your photos here directly, so as not to lose them in the virtual shuffle. Thank you in advance. At any rate, it looks to me as though you have found some agate or jasper blocks, although not the typical banded type. Maybe @ynot can say more to them. Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Fossildude19
Welcome to the Forum. I am posting the better pictures here - 3rd party hosting site links usually are very temporary, and when they no longer work, the post here with no link means nothing. Always better to post directly to the Forum, here. Most of them appear to be just rocks. Last one looks like some sort of ostracods or fusilinids? maybe? Leperditia sp.? KJane79
Thank you, Fossildude19. That was actually the first time I'd ever shared using a link... My photos were too large to post. Next time I'll try screen shotting them and send them that way. Thanks for the info regarding them. I appreciate you looking and sharing them for me! RJB
That coloration on the first rock looks like it was created by moisture and time. Looks to me like a rock. I do like the last one though. RB
