I need help to identify this tooth:

Its about 2 cm long and comes from Antwerp in Belgium. There you can find fossils, which come from the eocene to the pliocene.

I dont have an idea what this could be  I am not even sure that its a tooth ... Hopefully someone can help me  !

From the other side:

Tip of a whale tooth seems reasonable.   A couple of marine mammal tooth tips... WhaleTip.JPG.f14697dbc6572bf51445bad0a5d4fafe.JPGWhaleTip2.JPG.31de0eb7dee661a9c69810e594921398.JPG

Note the thin layer of enamel and the texture of a whale tip.

Has enamel that matches those of a whale. The crown seems a bit robust, maybe a large raptorial whale?

If you're a fossil nut from Palos Verdes, San Pedro, Redondo Beach, or Torrance, feel free to shoot me a PM!
