Evaluating keichousaurs, real, restored, fake?

Keichousaur questions crop up with regularity in this section of the forum. Perhaps those in the know could highlight the good, bad and ugly, pitfalls, legalities and what to look for when buying these gorgeous creatures.

Maybe make a sticky thread if it warrants it?

Just a thought. :)

Your idea is great, but you see ... HamptonsDoc has built an excellent tutorial alerting us about fake fossil eggs:

http://www.thefossilforum.com/index.php?/topic/69391-examples-of-commonly-faked-dino-eggs/

And even then, we have tons of posts here in the forum asking if the egg is fake or true. So I think every case is a case...

And I think a tutorial can help, but even then, tons of new posts with questions will always arrive.

Is It real, or it's not real, that's the question!
