Please tell us where you found it and if possible the stratigraphy of the area. Could be plant material.

I found it in Washington PA. I believe the stratigraphy is Dunkard group? It's a hobby I learned from my parents and uncles. I've been collecting rocks for around 30 years. I hope this helped. Thank you.

Yes  this is probably a plant (forgot the exact name at the moment) most of what I've heard found in this formation is such. The only part of the dunkard group in my home state is the top of four hills so I haven't got to hunt there yet, nice finds! Keep an eye out for vertebrate material, it is rumored to exist in this formation....

Thank you. As I said I'm from Washington PA and wasn't sure or not  if I correctly even gave the right answer by saying the dunkard group. I'm just an amateur artifact hunter and came across this while looking for arrowheads. Thank you again.
