Arizona Chris
HI all, You know those neat microscope slide sized microfossil containers with partitions inside to hold dozens of little fossils? I think they are covered with glass too and have a black background. Where would I buy such a thing? or is it easy to make them? Your thoughts? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Arizona Chris Paleo Web Site: http://schursastrophotography.com/fossiladventures.html

Arizona Chris
I see a lot of people make them from scratch using cardboard because it is not static. Maybe its time for me to get out the paper punch and poster board and try this... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Arizona Chris Paleo Web Site: http://schursastrophotography.com/fossiladventures.html
jkfoam
Google Paleontological slides. Look for Lakeside Microscope Accessories. They have a variety of slides available. Or you can make them. Jim The Eocene is my favorite
Arizona Chris
Jkfoam - I called Lakeside (they have no prices on their web site) they want $77 for a box of 100 compartment slides, $75 for 4 circle pocket slides, and $60 for 100 metal clips. They wont sell a lower quantity, so I guess you have to be pretty serious! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Arizona Chris Paleo Web Site: http://schursastrophotography.com/fossiladventures.html
DPS Ammonite
Here's a explanation from TFF about how to make your own slides: http://www.thefossilforum.com/index.php?/topic/1083-make-your-own-paleontology-slides-for-microfossils/&tab=comments#comment-8617 My goal is to leave no stone or fossil unturned.
