My day at the Waco Pit

So since all the kids are in school now I have free time. I hit the Lake Waco Research Area this morning for a couple of hours. I managed to find nine shark teeth, seven of them in the first 30 minutes and 50 yards of the trail head. Never have I found so many in one trip. Guess this I won't find any the next couple of trips. Still a very good day.

Nice teeth! Keep up the good work!

If you're a fossil nut from Palos Verdes, San Pedro, Redondo Beach, or Torrance, feel free to shoot me a PM!

Thanks. Saturday I plan on moving them into my display case.  I increased my collection by a third in just today.  Plus I found another Squalicorax falcatus.  I've only found four others of these out there.

Nice finds. You just never know what the day is going to provide. Lately the better finds have been when I've decided I have to go but cant convince my feet to actually start going to towards the vehicle. Continued hunting success.

Regards, Chris
