shel67
Moon snail, fish vertebrae, and some sort of tooth (shark????) that I found in the North Sulphur River in Ladonia Texas. These were found around the gravel bars. Any ideas of what the tooth is? Thank you in advance!
Macrophyseter
Yes, the pointy thing is a fish tooth, and is more likely a shark tooth as well. If it is a shark tooth, then I would guess it would be from a Scapanorhynchus which is a type of goblin shark. If you're a fossil nut from Palos Verdes, San Pedro, Redondo Beach, or Torrance, feel free to shoot me a PM!
DPS Ammonite
The coiled gastopods is an phosphatic internal mold of a Gyrodes sp.
