Soybabee
I have these bones I found yesterday. Can anyone identify them? Any help is very much appreciated!
Miocene_Mason
Looks a bit like a modern cow humerus. take a flame to it, if it smells like burnt hair then I am correct. If it does not smell, then it is a fossil. “...whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been and are being evolved.” ~ Charles Darwin Happy hunting, Mason

Soybabee
It could very well be a cow however, it's from a farm in Nebraska

The only American relatives are the musk ox and bison. Musk ox are a cold environment species so not likely to be found as far south as Nebraska. This leaves the most likely suspect as bison. 1 Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Will Rogers said: " Some of them didn't spring far enough."
