Is this a Triceratops frill section?

Hi guys,

 

Is this a real Triceratops frill section? I am not really sure the texture on both of the sides are from blood vessels.. So i like your opinions.

it is possible. how thick is this piece? many ceratopsian frills are extremely thick!

It would seem like a frill section, do you know where this fossil was found? If it was hell creek it can't be pinpointed to a specific ceratopsian. It may be torosaurus or triceratops.

Agree with the others a Ceratopsian frill section.  A number of Ceratopsians exist in the Hell Creek like Speeding Carno indicated so you cannot I'D it to a genus level

Exactly! I still have to get used to the real scientific labelling, instead of the marketing labelling from the resellers.That is why I am on this forum :dinosmile:
