It does look like it could be one, but it needs to be better exposed to be sure.

In order to tell what the age is We need to have an accurate location, nearby town or district.

What age can be a problem. The specimen comes from a pile of gravel from the construction. It seems to be Jurassic or Triassic. I found it in Krakow.

Nice find.

Did the pile come from digging on site or as something brought in for fill?

Rather to build a road? Can this be a fish or a reptile?

I'm no expert, but I do remember hearing somewhere of reptile bones in this area. A little prep (clearing away the rock from the bone) may be necessary for a better ID. Also glad you stayed!

This is a nothosaur like bone (humerus I presume) that has a similar beginning to yours (from Poland)

Probably I'm wrong, but is there any chance to be a brachiopod?

Hi Napoleon N..

I am also glad you stayed.  I think this might be some sort of tooth.  Fish?  Whatever it is... Nice find.
