Thanks, guys. At some point the fine dust may start to choke up the motor, but it should do the trick for at least a couple of weeks.

I've parked the little Aptychus next to the big one in the display cabinet just for fun. It's probably from a baby Aspidoceras, whereas the big one is presumably from a larger family member, Pseudhimalayites.

Wow,awesome finds! Thats quite a size difference between those two, he had a long way to go. Have you found any with the aptychus in place?

Hi Jim. I just noticed this today. As a matter of fact, I have found one in 3D and a couple pressed flat. The 3D one is in a partial living chamber. The phragmocone is long gone.

Roger, what are those more pronounced looking bits on the flattened ammo? You made a point of photographing them directly, and I plead ignorance on what I am seeing here. Are these associations or something unique to the ammo?
