Tidgy's Dad

Recommended Posts

This was sent to me in a sort of starter pack of fossils from the United States about 40 years ago.

It doesn't look like any algae or stromatolites I have seen from this site.

Any ideas anyone?

More pics to follow.

The white stuff seems to be the matrix, it's not just a coating, the others stuff is on top of it, wrapped around three sides.

Could be a broken off piece of a stromatolite.

Wrapped around three sides! How would that happen ?
