fossilcrazy
October 11th, 2017 was designated National Fossil Day. This year's logo is one of my favorites a primitive fish. The National Park Service has had this commemorative day in previous years. Macrophyseter
You just made me realize that today was national fossil day Also, have you heard that they do an art contest every year for national fossil day? I've actually participated in it and won honorable mention many years ago (for a prize of having my artwork being shown on a government website for a week ) , and other people's artworks are just amazing. Like I just said, there's really no actual prize for winning in the contest, but it's quite some fun to participate! If you're a fossil nut from Palos Verdes, San Pedro, Redondo Beach, or Torrance, feel free to shoot me a PM!
