Mrwiggly
Couldn't fit the pic in my post. Cone shape objects I suspect are just rocks but wanted to pass it by the forum. Thanks, Jason
The Jersey Devil
All of these are concretions. 1 “You must take your opponent into a deep dark forest where 2+2=5, and the path leading out is only wide enough for one.” ― Mikhail Tal
PalaeoArt
Yes, I agree. These all look like concretions. At Big Brook you can find trace fossils of the burrows of Ghost Shrimp (i.e. fossilized casts of burrows). The second sample looks a little similar but difficult to tell. Fossildude19
Those pesky, suggestively shaped concretions are everywhere down there. Better to bring it home, than to realize you left a great fossil at the site. 1 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks."
