First time fossil hunters Big Brook NJ

Recommended Posts

Went to Big Brook NJ for the first time this summer with the kids.  Liked it so much we went back several times.  For first timers we were very happy with the hauls.  May look rather plain to the seasoned people here but wanted to share.  Thanks, Jason

Nice finds! Looks like you did really well. We didn't find anywhere near the amount of teeth you did the first time we went. Congrats!

Such nice hauls

Keep it up!

If you're a fossil nut from Palos Verdes, San Pedro, Redondo Beach, or Torrance, feel free to shoot me a PM!

Bulldozers and dirt Bulldozers and dirt
behind the trailer, my desert
Them red clay piles are heaven on earth
I get my rocks off, bulldozers and dirt

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys. Those teeth took several trips in a span of a month we went 3 times. So not just 1 trip didn't mean to mislead there.

Fun, isn't it? :)

Your finds are pretty cool.  Especially the brachiopods.

Thanks for posting them.
