Shortly after I found it a piece broke off the front revealing some of the internal structure of the ammonite. I know it is pretty worn down, but can anyone give me an idea of what kind it is? I can't help with identifying your ammonite, but I just wanted to say that I love how you can see the septal walls on your specimen as well as the suture pattern - very cool!
