Lost Creek Dam tooth 2

I found this out at the Lost Creek Dam site near Jacksboro, Texas. I think it’s a tooth. It’s very small. Just over 2 cm tall, but the tooth part is about 1 cm.

Can anyone tell me what it is from?

I believe that it is a spine of a Metacoceras cephalopod. Note that it is thin like a piece of shell and is not as thick/solid as a tooth. Also it looks like it is calcium carbonate and not phosphatic. See photos of spiney nautiloid at bottom: https://www.myfossil.org/featured-fossil-lake-jacksboro-nautiloids/

My goal is to leave no stone or fossil unturned.

OK, I can see it isn’t like a tooth as much as it is a spine

I did find other pieces of a few different types of cephalopods out there. I found this below and a number of pieces that looked something like Tainoceras. I’m obviously not that good at ID yet, but I think I found more Tainoceras than Metacoceras pieces.
