LordTrilobite
That definitely looks like bone. But since it's a broken chunk it's hard to tell what type of bone it is. Perhaps making a few more photos from different angles will help with a better identification. Olof Moleman AKA Lord Trilobite
Shellseeker
IT seems to have the characteristics, texture, color that I would associate with fossil bone taken from my local hunting site (a dark water river) yesterday. My yake would be yes, although it is extremely difficult to differentiate say Bison and a modern cow bone from 2-3 hundred years ago. Max-fossils
I agree with the others on this being bone, but I don't think that you will get any further in the ID than "big mammal partial bone"... On the location I hunt at (the Zandmotor, Netherlands) big pieces of bone like this one are frequently found; but it is usually impossible to say anything about them if there are not enough characteristic features on it. Connah
This is 100% bone & has the look of Pleistocene about it but like others have said, beyond mammal, it's probably not possible to nail.
Haravex
It's a partial bone no question due to the structure inside, can we get a photo of both lateral ends might help to narrow down an identification.
