jcbshark
Found this today and not sure who it’s from. It was in two pieces ,there’s a tiny bit of the occlusal surface missing and it’s heavily worn but hopeful to get an ID . Is a single tooth with half of the mandible left but was my personal find of the day. It’s 1 1/2 in tall from root to crown and 1 1/8 inche across the crown. I was thinking bear and if so will be more than happy but would like to get an idea of the original owner . Thanks for looking Every once in a great while it's not just a big rock down there! Harry Pristis
It reminds me of a bear lower tooth (m2), but the crucial occlusal view is too blurred to say for sure. 2 http://pristis.wix.com/the-demijohn-page What seest thou else In the dark backward and abysm of time? ---Shakespeare, The Tempest
jcbshark
Thanks Harry, the occlusal is very worn and difficult to get a decent picture Every once in a great while it's not just a big rock down there!
