Unknown tooth

Welcome to the Forum. :) 

I don't think it's a tooth. As stated, no enamel visible. 

It does, however, remind me of a steinkern of a bivalve. (internal mold of a clam)

Ditto, not seeing it, but keep digging Rossi, treasure is out there!

 

On a funny note, my friend has a dog named "stainkles" :)

 

Don't be discouraged, in the beginning, it can be discouraging, keep digging (in more ways than one)
