EGG Fossil Identification

 I found this opposite my house and thought it looked like a fossilised egg? Helps appreciated thanks

Where in Perth? was it in bush, a road cutting...?

 

Doesn't look like an egg to me. The shape is a bit off and I see no evidence of eggshell, and as far as I know there aren't many fossils in Perth (I could be wrong)

Is is so nearly spherical it looks like it could have been poured into a mold. Or be the remainder of something that had been in a ladle.  Is it very heavy?

It looks man made to me as well (maybe compressed ash from a fire) if not then it's geological, not a fossil.

Agate nodules often form in the voids left by gas bubbles in volcanic rock, often giving them a ovoid or round shape.

This is part of one that was hollow.
