Bess Posted November 10, 2017 Share Posted November 10, 2017 My brother found this fossil in Pond Run in Hamilton, Nj. The rock in this area is mostly Triassic and Cretacious, with a small area of rock from the Cambrian. On both sides it has many ridges, and on the front you can see that most of the ridges start in the same area. Front Back I hope that you can identify this. Thank you in advance. Not sure you can get a further ID, but it does look similar to some Pectinoidea type bivalve. Again, most likely a glacial erratic, or transported fossil.
