@Sagebrush Steve I looked at them. If it is a stromatolite it would have to be a newborn infant. There's only two layers. A thin shell with a solid distinctive center. It's officially my bon bon fossil!

I thought this was super cool. Of course I've been in the rocks again. Well, I split one open for the first time and a single stone leaf fell out!! It's micro thin and was almost whole when it first fell out. Great detail on both sides too!
