Hello,

Could you please help me to identify the following fossils ?

I know they come from Brazil and after doing some research I think they are from the Santana do Cariri area.

Here are the measurements of the different specimens:

1 : 28 inches
2 : 24 inches
3 : 11 inches
4 : 10 inches

Thanks !

Hi,

Paris in France or in Texas ? It would be good to specify it in the profile ;)

Can't help you.

Hello, and welcome to the Forum. :)

#1 and #2 are the fish Vinctifer comptoni.  Probably from the Cretaceous Santana Formation, in Brazil.

#3 looks like a multiple block of  Tharrias araripis, most likely from the Ceara Formation .

#4  could be a curled and flattened Vinctifer comptoni, again, probably from the Ceara Formation.

Maybe  @oilshale will weigh in.

Thank you so much @Fossildude19 !

I will post more for identification soon. All these beautiful fossils have been in the cellar of my grandmother's house for too long without knowing what they are.

Best,

Marc
