Are #1-2 a  Conus gastropods?

And #3-4, Turritella perexilis?

Many thanks for looking!  I am trying to re-learn so much!

The cones are Conus sp. cf. C. largillierti. from the James City Formation. And the turitella looks like Turitella alticostata from the Yorktown Formation to me..

Them red clay piles are heaven on earth
I get my rocks off, bulldozers and dirt

Hi again... I've done a bit of study on Conus - Conus adversarius seems common in the region; I have looked at largillierti also.  I fond a page DEDICATED to Conus shells!  WOW!  For now, I shall be content to classify simply as Conus sp.  I see traits common to adversarius and others, but I'm not ready to commit just yet!  Still studying!
