trilobite cast?

Good evening, I found this along a creek bed near Austin, Texas and was curious what y'all think it might be. This creek has shark teeth, urchins, and mollusks throughout. Thanks

Trilobites were wiped out in the end-Permian Extinction, so since this piece is from cretaceous sediments, it's unfortunately not a trilobite. Additionally, I'm not seeing diagnostic features that would suggest a trilobite, further ruling out that possibility.

It looks like a cross section of part of a crinoid stem to me. Although there are things that might suggest otherwise but can’t prove anything as far as I know. (Rounded instead of parallel sides and completely connected at top and bottom) this could indicate something else, but I think it’s just the way it’s bernn worn visible.
