Archie Posted December 5, 2017 Share Posted December 5, 2017 I've not had a chance to post my finds here in a while but over the past few months I've found some new specimens of Lower Carboniferous/Mississippian marine shark teeth I wanted to share! These were collected at various sites in the Midland Valley of Scotland from the Blackhall Limestone, an extensive formation with interesting variations in fauna at each different locality. Jim Copodus was a new one for me too, some specimens have been found in Northern Ireland but I think they have been most commonly found in the Carboniferous of Russia, its a weird tooth!
