"Tiny" is a Torosaurus from Colorado

Tiny once thought to be a Triceratops its actually a Torosaurus

 

Paper says Tiny is the most complete Cretaceous dinosaur found in Colorado

I was on that dig. It was a lot of fun. Helped plaster up the skull. 
 

The bone quality once prepped out in the DMNS lab was spectacular. 
 

The teeth were banded caramel and chocolate brown zebra stripes. Gorgeous.

This is a cool find....  but I have known it was a Torosaurus for months if not years... is this a new 'official' statement?

Yup. This is a reactivation of an older topic. The re-identification as Torosaurus seems to have been back in 2017.

No, I just happened upon the post just now and commented. Yes, Mike led the dig along with Joe Sertich. He sadly passed away during it. He was a great person.
