Found in Greenwood county Kansas area, not sure if bone fragment or part of jaw fragment, found in area where previously found Shark teeth.  Any ideas from the group what this fragment is?

I might be wrong, but it looks like something in the vicinity of a drum fish mouth plate...minus the teeth of course.

I agree with Caldigger. Might be easier to search Wrasse family to find a definitive ID.
