Nimravis
I am again going through thing that I have in my collection and came across this little thing and I am thinking that it may be a Pennsylvanian cephalopod, maybe Pseudorthoceras. I do not know the location that it came from and I am guessing that it is Pennsylvanian. Any help would be appreciated.
Tidgy's Dad
That's a really nice specimen. I would say, yes, Pseudorthoceras, as the other orthocones I know of from the Pennsylvanian of the USA (if it is Pennsylvannian) all seem to be shorter and squatter. like Mooreoceras or Brachycycloceras. But I'm a bit out of date these days. 2 Life's Good! Tortoise Friend.
