Very beautiful crab!!! :wub: I am guessing that those crabs are very fragile?

Retrocypoda almelai Vía, 1959, from the Bartonian (middle Eocene) of Central Catalonia, where it was described for the first time. Decades later, this species was reported in Italy, Aragon, Valencian Country, southern France, Hungary and Iran. Retrocypoda almelai ranges from the Ypresian to the Priabonian, where it disappears according to the present fossil record.

But without you recognizing the importance of the specimen and arranging for it to be available for study there would have been no lifting to be done.  Kudos to you. :tiphat:
