caldigger
My aunt used to make similar items from collected moose droppings in Fairbanks, Alaska back in the day. I remember ornaments, earrings, pendants and these cute little bugs she called Alaskan Moosekeeters.

Sagebrush Steve
I guess it beats getting a lump of coal for Christmas, but not by much. You did say they were fossilized, right?

Tidgy's Dad
I just love telling people here that my friend in the US sent me a poo in the post. And now that another one is on the way from someone I barely know. They think that Americans must really hate me. Even when i explain they still look rather dubious and can't understand why i'm so happy! 1 Life's Good! Tortoise Friend.

caldigger
A gift card for a restaurant is somewhat impersonal and nontreatening. He/she can take their spouse to dinner.
