Nimravis
Let's see what your "Best Deal" that you received on a fossil that you purchased. Over the years I received several great deals on fossils, here are two of my best. White River Oligocene 24" Lower Titanothere jaw with 2 partial teeth - about 20 years ago I purchased this jaw for $20.00. White River Oligocene Upper Titanothere Jaw portion with 3 complete teeth- at the same time of the above purchase, I also purchased this fossil for $10.00.
Bobby Rico
Hi have a few bargains in my collection but this I sold to bid on the Grand Christmas Auction. Sorry this is the only picture I have of it. A cave bear jaw . I will give the pice in dollars $27 and sold $223 I sold this for two reasons one to bid on the Auction and secondly I watched and I wish I had not the film The Grisly Man. The film is sad protrail of man cutting himself off from Society and slipping into madness. The film does not end well. It really freaked me out and the jaw just reminded me of that to much. but it was a Win Win for me as I won a fantastic lot of hell creek bits and a nice chunk of money to TFF

Oh that’s is annoying in hindsight I probably would have ended up swapping with you and not winning the Auction or paying with my credit card (but getting some great fossils off you.)
LordTrilobite
Best deal? Probably the articulated Spinosaurus aegyptiacus quadrate and quadratojugal skull bones I got this year for about 60 euros. It's from the "middle" Cretaceous of the Kem Kem beds in Morocco. It was being sold as a crocodile limb. Kem Kem bones are very often misidentified. It's about 20 cm or 8 inches tall. 5 Olof Moleman AKA Lord Trilobite
Troodon
Picked up this Trex toe bone on eBay for $125. Seller had no clue what he had. Over the years that auction site as been very good to me with lots of great buys by sellers who really did not know what they had. I could fill pages of those type of items but will settle on this one. Knowledge is worth it's weight in gold.
-Andy-
Picked up this Anosteira maomingensis turtle for 67 bucks. Seller didn't want it as the shell was covered in dust and filth and was crumbling. I took a risk and washed it, then I coated it with varnish(!) to preserve it. Turned out fine I say 4 Looking forward to meeting my fellow Singaporean collectors! Do PM me if you are a Singaporean, or an overseas fossil-collector coming here for a holiday! Bobby Rico
This is a real treasure of mine a partial Oreodont skull for about $22 . The seller forgot to include in their online auction the word Fossil so they did not get many views and I won it for the starting bid .

RJB
This was rather recent. I purchaced this fossil this year,2017. The only reason I bought this was for the chance to get some tippy tippys. The leg tips are very rare to get on a Tumidocarcinus crab. I got very luck and this fossil had 6 tips and I built the last two. Exspensive at $400 plus $370 for shipping but now I have one of the worlds most complete Tumido's. One happy camper here!!! RB

caldigger
The best deal I ever got was getting accepted as a member on The Fossil Forum. Not only got an invaluable pool of knowledge, but gained a loving family as well.
Kane
I won't name names, but anything I have purchased from TFF members. It has always been fair, and I could be reasonably certain of the integrity of the seller as they are active and knowledgeable members here. I never got a "steal," but always felt I got perfect value for what I bought where both people in the transaction felt it was a fair exchange. 2 ...How to Philosophize with a Hammer
