masonboro37
My son and I found this bone fragment today on one of our adventures. The tide in the area was low, wind not too harsh. We were in an area on the Onslow County Beach, NC. We were able to pick up some fossilized shells and other specimens in our short 15 minutes there at this particular spot. It was chilly, but we were layered up! Just curious about an identification of the specimen. I contacted a dear friend and we both think croc or turtle. Any insight is greatly appreciated. The specimen measures about three inches in length. Libby Process of identification "mistakes create wisdom".
