TNGray
Being from California, we have never hunted the Peace River. We will be in the Naples area for a few days. Is anyone willing to take us out for a hunting trip? Can offer an exchange experience for Shark Tooth Hill in Bakersfield. This is an example of what we find! MeargleSchmeargl
Not gonna be there myself, but good luck, nonetheless! Every single fossil you see is a miracle set in stone, and should be treated as such.

caldigger
Ted, I am not seeing any pictures if you posted some. That being said, if Ted is offering you a chance for some STH action on his plot, it would be worth the exchange. Just don't find that 9" Meg he has been saving for the grandkids to find. caldigger
Ted, in your picture, bottom left. The item laying vertically, what is that? It looks like it has a very sharp little tooth sticking out of it.
TNGray
I will have to find the specimen but I suspect the tooth was in matrix, not in the bone fragment.

fossilized6s
Don't want to change the subject, but is this a pelvic bone in matrix??? ~Charlie~ "There are those that look at things the way they are, and ask why.....i dream of things that never were, and ask why not?" ~RFK ->Get your Mosasaur print ->How to spot a fake Trilobite ->How to identify a CONCRETION from a DINOSAUR EGG
TNGray
The consensus is it a sacrum (pelvis) of a bird.
