Need help with Identification on possible verts?

Hi, found these today at Speeton, UK. Could anybody tell me what they are, was thinking they may be a possible vert, but I wouldn’t have a clue myself.

Hi, i'm sure those branching things are not vertebrae.

That would explain the kind of decorations that can be seen on the side of one of them.
