wow, thats so cool. This image is some fossils of skin from the large Dromaeosaurids?

They only said its a patch of skin that needs to be investigated.  The block contains baby to adult Utahraptors and other types of dinosaurs so anything is possible.  One initial assessment was lizard.

Kirkland posted this image of a baby Utahraptor vertebra "guessing...a few months old and a bit larger than a turkey"

 

We are looking at a caudal around 2 cm

SV POW blog extracted it the image and discussed how can these long processes articulate like in other dinosaurs.  Answer on some Dromaeosaurids they overlap forming a stiff tail.

Well thats strange.  I never would have expected caudal verts like that.
