Sydney Plant Fossil - Help Id

Recommended Posts

losblancos3

Hi all,

Was hoping someone here might know what type of plant material this is. I'm pretty sure it is from the Wianamatta Group and was found while bushwalking in the Hornsby district of Sydney. I'm thinking it may be a form of equisetum stem?

Thanks,

Kind regards,

Roy
